You can park free of charge in the public car park before the barrier. From 17 June 2026, parking on the private grounds of Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin, beyond the barrier, will be chargeable. Both options are subject to availability.

Paid Parking, how It works Parking & payment for hotel guests

1. Arrival

Upon arrival, your vehicle registration number will be scanned at the barrier. What happens next depends on your situation:

  • Situation A: You have registered your vehicle registration number online in advance
    (via the link in your pre-arrival confirmation)
    • Access: The barrier will open automatically. No parking ticket is required.
    • Discounted rate: The reduced hotel guest parking rate will be applied automatically. No further action is required at reception.
  • Situation B: You have NOT registered your vehicle registration number in advance
    • Access: Take the parking ticket issued automatically at the barrier.
    • Activate the discounted rate: Please have your parking ticket registered at reception to activate the reduced hotel guest parking rate.

2. Payment before departure

Please pay before leaving the car park. You can do this in one of two ways:

  • Option 1 (Card payment): Enter your vehicle registration number at the payment machine near the bicycle storage area and pay by debit or credit card.
  • Option 2 (Mobile payment): Scan the QR code displayed on the information signs and pay online.

3. Exit

Once payment has been made, the system will scan your vehicle registration number at the exit. The barrier will open automatically and you may leave the car park.

Hotel Guest Parking Rates

  • Short stay

    • First 30 minutes (one-time only) free of charge for unloading luggage and checking in.
    • Departure before 8.00 pm: €7.50

  • Overnight stay

    • Parking until 12.00 noon the following day: €15.00

Please note:

  • A new parking period starts automatically at 12.00 noon.
  • Parking charges apply each time you enter and leave the car park.

Visitors / Non-Resident Guests Day Meetings

Visitors and guests who are not staying overnight are also welcome to use our parking deck. The standard parking rate for non-resident guests is €30.00 per day.

Please note that a new parking period starts automatically at 12.00 noon.

Payment can be made:

  • By card at the payment machine
  • Online via the QR code on the parking ticket or information signs

  

Day Meetings

Participants attending day meetings may use the public car park below the hotel free of charge.

Should you prefer to use our parking facilities, the standard parking rate applies, subject to availability. Further information will be provided in advance by the meeting organiser.

Important Information

  • Parking is subject to availability.
  • Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin is unable to reserve or guarantee parking spaces.
  • Parking is only permitted within marked bays.
  • Incorrectly parked vehicles may be removed.
  • Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk. Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage.

  

Lost Your Parking Ticket?

If you have misplaced your parking ticket, you can still make payment by scanning the QR code displayed on the information sign next to the payment machine.
