People from the wider Wijk aan Zee area used to come to Restaurant Het Hoge Duin to enjoy the chicken dish ‘kip in 't pannetje'. To keep this beautiful culinary memory alive, we have retrieved the traditional recipe, given it a contemporary twist and added it as a small dish to Restaurant Het Hoge Duin's ‘Live Cooking Experience’.

In our Skybar, you are welcome to linger and savour the afterglow of your dinner.Here, we offer an additional range of specialty beers on tap, a rich and distinctive selection of whiskies, and an extensive menu of house-made cocktails. Try our very own signature cocktail, the HD Sunset, inspired by the sunset over the sea that so often bathes our restaurant in a warm orange hue.

We charge a set price per person, which grants unlimited access to our buffets.

Can I dine at Restaurant Het Hoge Duin without a reservation?

Are you not staying at our hotel? You’re very welcome to dine with us; however, you will need to reserve in advance. We also ask our hotel guests to book ahead owing to availability.

Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin uses dinner vouchers. What does this mean for me?

Before you dine, you must pay for the dinner buffet at the hotel reception. You will then receive your dinner voucher, which you hand in at the restaurant when the buffet begins. Any drinks you consume can be settled directly in the restaurant.

Can I park my car at Restaurant Het Hoge Duin?

Only guests staying at Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin may use our car park free of charge, subject to availability. If spaces are full, you may park in Wijk aan Zee in the public car parks near our hotel, also subject to availability.

If you haven’t booked a room but are dining with us, we ask that you park free of charge outside the hotel grounds*, subject to availability.

  

*If necessary, you may drive to the entrance to drop off or collect guests with reduced mobility.
